🔍 Why I Picked This Up:

Sapphic historical romances always intrigue me, plus this one being a reimagined England where people are free to love whoever was very interesting!

✨ What I Loved:

I had so much fun reading this book, I was never bored for a second, which is rare for me! The tension between the characters was absolutely amazing, and their relationship developed so beautifully. 💫 I found myself sneaking in pages whenever I could, whether I should’ve been sleeping or on my lunch break at work. Their journey was heartfelt, romantic, and so engaging, I didn’t want it to end. 💖

✍️ Room for Improvement:

The only tiny thing that stood out to me was that the ending felt just the slightest bit rushed in terms of the relationship. I still loved how it wrapped up, but I wouldn’t have minded a little more time with them in those final moments. 🫶

Overall, I adored every second of this book and highly recommend it. 💌 If you love sapphic historical romances with great tension and a relationship that makes you root for the characters from start to finish, this one will be perfect for you!
